Maya Gabrielle Steinholtz
fluid space
Graduation project at KADK, 2018
This project is a pair of inner walls, especially designed for tiny-living in a urban context. The walls are moveable, they can move through each other to crate a flexible space.
The 3D-textile makes the surface close itself, as the two structures moves through each other, and let’s the light pass through, to crate a beautiful space.
The construction is made of maple-wood, it has a calm and light color that gives space to the pattern of the construction. The textile is constructed of two 3D-textiles, laminated together to give both the technical and esthetic properties. The textiles also provides an acoustic effect, giving a soft and muted sound in the room.
